Supporting children where they spend most of their time.
School is where so much happens for a child. It is where friendships are built, confidence grows and for many children it is also where anxiety, overwhelm and emotional difficulties become most visible.
I work directly with schools, teachers and pastoral teams across the West Midlands and Staffordshire, coming to you to deliver therapy, training and workshops that genuinely support the young people in your care. Sessions can be delivered in person on site or remotely via Teams, whatever works best for your school.
I bring over five years of experience working with children and families across NHS Talking Therapies, CAMHS and school based mental health teams, so I understand the pressures schools are under and how to work alongside your existing provision rather than around it.
What I Offer
1 to 1 therapy in School
I come into your school to deliver individual CBT sessions for pupils struggling with anxiety, low mood, ADHD, autism or other mental health difficulties. Sessions are in a calm, private space and tailored entirely to the individual child.
Available in person across Cannock, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Lichfield, Burntwood and Rugeley, or remotely via Teams.
Parent Workshops
Online and in person workshops giving parents practical tools and a better understanding of their child's emotional world. Tailored to your school community and available as a one off session or short series.
Staff and Teacher Training
Practical, evidence based training to help your team recognise and respond to mental health difficulties with confidence. Delivered as an INSET day, twilight session or bespoke programme. Topics include anxiety and emotional regulation, ADHD and autism in the classroom, recognising low mood, trauma informed approaches and supporting transitions.
Pupil Group Programmes
Structured, evidence based group programmes for primary and secondary pupils delivered across a half or full term block. Themes include anxiety, confidence, friendships and managing emotions. Engaging, age-appropriate and designed to complement individual support.
Areas I travel to: Cannock, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Lichfield, Burntwood and Rugeley. Sessions also available remotely via Teams for schools outside these areas.
